City of Elko Master Plan Update in Progress

ELKO, Nevada – (July 27, 2010) – The City of Elko, in collaboration with CRSA, a private consulting firm based in Salt Lake City, is in the process of updating the City’s Master Plan. The Master Plan Update will include four chapters:  Land Use, Transportation, Parks and Recreation, and Arts and Culture.   Each chapter will include a set of goals and objectives for the future, an inventory and analysis of existing conditions, and a set of best practices that offer recommendations for the future.  To date, the draft goals and objectives, and existing conditions analyses have been completed.
